General principles of movement technique

Introduction to basic strokes (Full, Tap, Down, Up) and their application:

  1. -Full and Tap strokes on same dynamic beats

  2. -Rhythmic reading on principal binary and ternary times.

  3. -Reading of eights, triplets and sixteenth notes with introduction to accents concept.

  4. -Accents with using of Up and Down strokes on different dynamic beats starting for example from 1st chapter form the book “The Rudimental Drummer” by John Wooton.
